Youth Courses for 2017

The Lincolnville Boat Club runs a summer youth program that holds classes Monday thru Friday. Students sail on the warm waters of Norton Pond in Lincolnville, using Vanguard 420s, Optimists, and Lasers, all of which are ideal for safe learning and advancing sailing capabilities. Students also have the opportunity to swim and learn to kayak and row! Even if the weather doesn’t cooperate, we use our beautiful clubhouse for indoor learning.

We offer two types of youth programming. Our partial day courses are catered towards learning specific sailing skills. Our full day courses are open to all students (no sailing ability requirement), who will have the opportunity to spend all day exploring the pond and ocean with us.

Partial Day courses: The Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced** classes focus exclusively on sailing and improving sailing skills.

** Sign-Up for Advanced Courses requires contacting LBC, please call or email to inquire about clearance for this course.
